I'm currently working on my "narrative railroad log" for the Capitol Ltd route. Where exactly does Sand Patch grade in PA begin and end? If you give me a RR milepost, you'll have to also reference it to some nearby town, stream crossing, or something, since my topo maps don't show RR mileposts. Thanks--
A little confusing using the east/west navigation as west points to the right and east to the left, yet the map has north to the top. In other words, start at the east end (as it says) and then click on the righthand navigation ("West>") button to move left on the map. Clear as mud? You'll see what I mean.
There are bound to be arguements as to exactly where it starts and finishes though, since trains are climbing long before they reach the toughest section.
