I am taking the Heartland Flier to Oklahoma city. Does anyone know of a Comfort inn close to the station? Also what area of town is the station in?
Thanks,
Alvin in Austin

The Oklahoma City station is right downtown. It's the old Santa Fe platform but I think you have to walk out into the parking lot rather than getting to go through the original waiting room. There is a convention center and a couple of the expensive downtown hotels within a couple of blocks of the Amtrak station.

Your closest Comfort Inn is about 5 miles west of downtown. There is also an Econo-Lodge about two miles west of town and a Quality Inn about three miles east of downtown. You'll probably have to get a cab to any of these. More info on all of the hotels I've named can be found online at www.choicehotels.com as all are owned by the same chain.

Good luck and Happy Travels,
