Hey all I just took the International from London On to Chicago and it was a consist of Superliners! wow and we all thought there was a shortage or something? I crossed the boader with 12 other passengers! in 3 coaches well talk to you all soon

Glad to hear you had a good trip. Yeah, it's really nice to have superliners on the corridor trains. I'm pretty sure that the Int'l has had superliner equipment since the mid-90's. Sometimes in the summer it runs with Horizon/amfleet cars, but the rest of the year you can count on seeing superliners, even during the shortage. Usually, three coaches and a P42. Many times it runs with a coach-cafe and two coach-baggage. Odd mix, huh?

The Superliner shortage is largely confined to the "premium" cars; sleepers, diners, and lounges.
