The Summer Service change update (TTU) is now availabe on trainweb. It can be viewed at http://www.trainweb.org/nationaltimetable/servicechanges/summer.html. This is the first update since the February 22 release of the March notice. It also signifies the completion of phase 2 of the brand transition process. Amtrak's next expected changes are scheduled to take effect on September 30, 2001 when the last batch of 40 Surfliner Cars will be delivered, and more Acela Express trains are added. The Crescent Star, a new service from Fort Worth, Texas, to Merriddian, Mississippi is also slated to start on that date.
