New Surfliner II equipment will have names.

Coaches will be named for beaches.
Cafe cars will be named for canyons.
Baggage Coaches will be named for points.
Custom Class Cars will be named for parks.

California Car II fleet cars will be named as follows:

Coaches will be named for beaches.
Cafes will be named for canyons.
Cab/Baggage Coaches will be named for points.

A total of twelve California Car II and ten Surfliner II cars will be delivered to California services. It is anticipated that the Baggage coaches will be used mostly on San Joaquin consists to alleviate the current need to block off part of a regular coach for baggage. Other cars will be used on the Capitol service pool, freeing up two diners for the Valley route trains.

What is the difference between a Surfliner II car and a California II car? I thought the Pacific Surfliners used California Cars.
