On November 15 I boarded train #4 at Fullerton for a trip to ABQ New Mexico. The diner on this train was number 38000. The first Superliner Diner! I was surprised that it looked pretty good. It probably had been to Beech Grove during its life at some time. Does anyone consider this a historical car? I know other 000 Superliners are still out there. Anyone seen these?

A little over a year ago on the California Zephyr I rode a Superliner I bearing the name "George M. Pullman." Does that qualify as historic? It certainly seemed historic. It still had the original orange upholstry, and the air conditioner went dead in the desert.
