I had my first train ride on the Cresent and I really enjoyed it. The employees on the departing trip were friendly and helpful, although the ones on the return trip acted as if they could care less except for one lone employee who seemed to enjoy her job. Overall it was a wonderful trip and if service is not cut out for my destination I will be riding Amtrak again.

I'm glad to hear you had a good trip. As you discovered Amtrak service can be rather uneven, but enjoyable nonetheless.
