Thank you Reggie for LSL dining info. Now, about the Vermonter south from Montpelier to Springfield, MA. Bought business class seats in advance, then learned of the "traveling backwards" feature of this train. Apparently, regular coach passengers can move to opposite-facing seats, to face forward again, but there's no such option for business class? Seems odd. I don't mind riding backwards--I do it often in standard bedrooms--but it bothers my wife. Were the business class tickets a mistake? Maybe it's just a short trip from where the train begins "going backwards" to Springfield. This is no big concern, but I'm curious about how it works. Thanks.

To Springfield from Vermont, you would only go "backward" from Palmer, MA to Springfield. That is about the last 30 minutes or so of the trip. You would have a much longer "backward" portion to say, Washington. This of course assumes that you are facing forward leaving the Vermont points.
