This statement released from Amtrak earlier this morning.

Most Acela Express service will be cancelled today to accommodate inspections ordered by Amtrak, but other trains operating in the northeast will be unaffected by the inspections and, during the busiest times of the day, morning and mid-afternoon, a schedule of at least hourly departures from Boston, New York and Washington will be maintained.
