I tried to use my AT&T phone card at a pay phone at the new Albany, NY station. The call would not go through. I called the operator and he said this was an "independant phone company" phone and only cash or credit call calls would be accepted. I asked for an AT&T operator and placed an operator assisted call. It cost me $7 for a 1 minute call. Beware of the phones at the Albany station.

Hi:

I also have an AT & T card but hardly ever use it.

Buy a prepaid phone card like at Target (if one is available in your area).

That should solve any problem like you ran into.

I hope this info is helpful.
