Hard to believe but the the schedule changes that went into effect at the April are being reviewed. The Niagara Falls to Penn schedule has been a flop. The rumor is moving the trains back to their old times. Which means #284 leaving early and being able to connect with #19. #284 would depart Buffalo just before #48.The LakeShore Limited would stay in it's current time slot.

Also effective immeadiately #281 has become #287 meaning it will depart 1 hour later from Penn. A disagreement about the schedule for #281/#287 led CSX to hold #281 in Albany for an extra hour all of last week.
Apparently the management in Albany forgot who owned the tracks when the disagreement occurred.
