Ok guys. I have a small bet with a few of my friends and was wondering if any of you knew the latest amtrak on record. I know alot of times Amtrak has canceled the train if it grows to late.

Thanks for your help!

I don't know if it is a record or not, but I remember a few years ago the Sunset Limited arrived in Los Angeles 23 hours late.

Are we counting trains that have had to be annuled because they were running so late? When they were doing track construction between Eugene OR and Klammath Falls, the CS on a few occasions showed 25 hours late (expected arrival into LAX). Eventually several trains would be and continue to be annuled. But, the work appears to be done know since the CS is back to it's normal of 1 to 2 hours late in both directions.
