Same story as below but part 2. Anybody know scanner frequencies, Chitown to Glenwood? Also, how likely is it to get a sleeper on the train from a no show? Will there be room in lounger car through Colorado mountains and tunnels? Share your experiences.

Can't help with frequencies, but enter railroad scanner frequencies into a search engine, I believe you will find them.
You're not likely to find any open sleeper space available for onboard purchase this time of year, but if you do, the discount is up to 50%.
Pick out a seat in the lounge before leaving Denver, it will fill up fast. rick
