We will be leaving West Palm Beach, FL on #98 and changing to #1 in Orlando, FL. There should be about an hour wait to change trains. BUT if #98 is late will #1 wait?, I'm sure there are alot of pass. changing also. Thanks.

If you have reserved accomodations, including coach, and they are ticketed on one ticket, that means you have a "guaranteed" connectionl, and, having such, Amtrak has a "strong moral" (but not legal as part of your transportation contract)to "take care of you" in event of a missconnect.
But I wouldn't worry about WPB-98-ORL-1-??

I agree with Mr. Norman -- the Silver Service trains (Silver Meteor-Silver Star-Palmetto) generally do OK IN FLORIDA as long as they originate in Florida (by the time they get up the coast toward NYP or WAS, however -- well, that is another story....). The N-bound Meteor most likely will be pretty close to schedule into Orlando, since it originates in Miami, which is just a few hours south of Orlando. If something unusal happened (signal problems, etc.), and there were connecting passengers to #1, I imagine #1 would wait for a while, but there shouldn't really be a problem with the connection you will be making.

Thanks for your help, I was wondering if I should get on in Orlando and eliminate the WPB train if that was going to be a problem.
