Any advice out there for a passenger engineer hopeful? I'm looking for input regarding background requirements and the hiring process in general. I'm 37, single and willing to relocate anywhere.

You might want to start by following the trainweb link to "jobs" followed by the "Amtrak" link. It is a considerable climb to becoming an engineer. If your willing and able, apply for an entry level position and work your way up. College education in the RR industry field would also be helpful. Good luck.
