For the Street Scene Food and Music Festival on September 5-7, 2003 in the Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego Northern Railway, the operator of the Coaster will provide special trains in addition to their regularly scheduled Friday and Saturday service, and will offer Sunday trains to the event.

On Friday, ridership on trains #648, #652, #654, and #656 is expected to be heavier than usual. Additionally, a special 6:35P departure is added to the schedule.

Northbound, two additional trains at 10:50P and 1:05A are added to help distribute crowds more evenly on trains #657 and #659.

On Saturday, to accomodate heavy passenger loads on trains #650 and #656, additional trains are added at 4:09P and 7:52P. Four additional northbound trains are are added to the schedule, at 8:05P, 10:50P. 12:00M, and 1:05A.

Sunday, September 7, 2003, only, Coaster will be offering Sunday Service, with five roundtrips, spaced evenly throughout the day.

Additionally, the ridership loads will be heavy due to the Race Track and the fact the Padres are playing a home stand series this upcoming weekend.
