Anyone know why the LSL is so late today? I know it late on most days but 7 hours!!!

7 Hours is not thaaaaaaat late for the limited.
Sure its late and it can really MESS up youyr plans, But with trains like the Coast Starlight, and the LS. Limited you never know what to excpect.

It's just bad weather, poor management and lack of equipment that causes this kind of delay. In the winter they actually need 4 sets of equipment for the Lakeshore vs. the 3 they run now. Each time the westbound Lakeshore is more than 3 hours late into Chicago it will be even later departing east towards New York.

At one point, the Lake Shore had 4 sets of equipment, but of course like anything else, it was most likely dropped down to three sets for ons simple reason....SAVE MONEY!
