Yes I know there is a big difference between the two cars but accommodation wise its the same minus the fancy features. Two facing seats, toilet and enclosed wash basin. Only difference the lower bed when made up reminded me of a drawbridge - the middle of the bed sometimes didn't come together correctly and maybe one half of the bed was an half inch higher or lower than the other half. Anyway I miss the slumbercoach and the fact you paid alot less for a private room than you do today. I always made a point of having an upper single room vs. lower - and I remember the ex-NYC cars (Harbor series - ex. roomette sleepers) as having additional space for some of the single rooms.
