Has anyone else found more out about the death of the International? We still have a petition out to save it, but we keep getting lied to by various parties involved.

My friend told me that the Michigan Department of Tranportation has decided to return to the Bluewater schedule for six months starting April 26. This means the train will originate from Port Huron early in the morning and return from Chcago later the same day. The border crossing and connections to Canada will be eliminated.

After six months one of three things could happen:

  1. Keep the new schedule
  2. Return to the International
  3. Eliminate the train entirely

Any bets??
