How many of you have seen the show about how after a School Bus, years ago, was hit by a Train, and that since then theres never been a simuler incident at that crossing, and they sent someone to put there truck in nutral and it was pushed over the crossing, then the back of the SUV was dusted for finger prints,, and when they did this they found finger prints of Children. I noticed that things like this are involved in RailRoading more than you think,,

What do you say?

I smell "Urban Legend" all over this story.

There are several versions of this story, and it seems that almost every part of the continent has one version of cars being pushed off the tracks by ghosts. Yep. urban legend.

Snopes.com has a great explanation of this legend and its history:

How doesn't the Snopes page help? It explains where this legend got started and how it keeps getting repeated.

I guess the snopes file takes the fun out of it. Some people would rather believe...

When I said it dosnt help, I meant the page dosnt evan say a resonable explantion for it,, basicaly, they cant prove it wrong with out an explation.
Besides, I've seen it done on an up-hill type grade, not a car just rolling away like the page says
