I have been assigned Bedromm "B" on Auto Train superliner. Is this OK for ride quality? Should I try to switch?

Switch, if possible.
That one is right over the wheels. Also, if the car is pointed A end forward, you will be riding backwards on the sofa.
E is best, center car forward riding.

Even so, B is always better than A (with its shifted latrine reducing the usability of the space).

I know there is a set of sleeper floor plans somewhere here on the website but I can't find it. Help!
On a train like the Empire Builder is the "A" Deluxe bedroom always at the front of the car? Is there anyway to know this when booking? I would like to try for "E" since I know "A" is marginally smaller and noisier and I'd prefer to have a room with the couch facing forward.

The deluxe bedrooms are located towards the front of the train... much of the time. There is no guarantee whatsoever, but this is what I've experienced most.
FWIW I've ridden in the end standard sleepers and never had a problem with trucks. The sliding door into the diner (or adjacent sleeping car) was more annoying.
As said many a time before, upstairs vs downstairs is good for different reasons (bear in mind lower bunk on lower level is slightly *below* the centre of pivot for the car, whereas upper bunk on lower level is roughly centre, and upper level bunks are above). All depends on your tolerance levels.

Two of the six Sleepers on the Auto Train are configured 10Dlx, 4Std, Family, Special.
For the second tier of Deluxes, F would be the best with J the worst.
A "plus" I guess for those cars is that they are closest to the Diner and Lounge - often of defininte concern to the Bennie Caddie Lex crowd aboard "in season".

I have ridden on AutoTrain and have an Amtrak computer printout of room locations for the deluxe sleepers. The upstairs rooms run A-E as in the regular Superliner sleepers. The deluxe rooms at the opposite end are lettered J-N with J being nearest the center of the car. The reason for this lettering is that Family Bedrooms originally were designated Room "F". Handicapped bedrooms were (and still are) Room "H". For whatever reason, they started with J rather than I.

Heh...the serious answer is, most likely, so "I" can't be confused with the number 1. Some lettered lists also leave out "O" so it can't be confused with the number 0.
