Today is April first. Today is historic day for Korean railroad. We begin to run high speed train(hst) from today. Its' maximum speed is 300km/h or 480mile/h. We have constructed it for 10 years.
A few days ago we had a international symposium on Hst at a hotel in Seoul, capital city of South Korea . In there I met a gentleman from Florida. He was a chairman of Florida high speed rail authority. He talked about plan of high speed rail in Florida.
But I was not sure when they begin to construction or run HST in Florida. Who will fund it? Are there any other cities which have such a plan in America?
Even though they have a plan, it is another matter to begin to construct Hst rail. I know that funding the construction money is real hard thing in America.
We did it with all the money from government in Korea.
I want your answer. Thank you.

160kph = 100mph
320kph = 200mph
640kph = 400mph
300kph is under 200mph nowhere near the 480mph you state...
April 1st? Not April Fools by any chance?
Yes, he did do his speed conversion backwards.
1 mile = 1.609344 km.
300 km/h = 186 mph
(yes, I know the exact figure would be 186.41136, but anything beyond the whole number would be in the range of insignificant figures.)
Either way it looks to be a fast train for sure...
