Well after waiting 10-15 minutes after calling their 1-800 number, I soon found out that my question was one that needed to be addressed by customer service. Of course they are closed all weekend so I have to wait until Monday.

Then I also found out that the ticket vouchers I have from my previously cancelled trip can only be redeemed where there is a ticket counter, and I don't live anywhere near any of the stations with one.

The the rate this is going, I'm going to go from an original $290 for two tickets, with $60 lost in the "processing fee" for each of them for getting the vouchers, to probably losing another $115 if I can't get the one ticket voucher name switched (and I'm not holding by breath) since the one person cannot go on a trip any time soon and someone else I know can, to perhaps losing it all if I can't get to an actual ticket counter to make my reservations. If I can't get the one name on the ticket changed I should still be able to get the one person to pay me back with time, so at least it's not the end of the world there. Either way, I'm not sure if my rant here is asking any questions, I think I'm just expressing my anger with how their whole system runs.
