Looks like the only other sleeper on the complete rebuild program was #32068. It was estimated to be released by September 30. But this may not be up to date.

Check this site http://www.on-track-on-line.com/amtkrinf-supr1slp.shtml

According to my books 32068 was never involved in a wreck so she may have just been due for a major overhaul.

I did see repainted #32032 on train #3 this moring in Fullerton Station alsong with repainted dorm car #39028 (formerly part of the Starlight pool).

I have also seen repainted coaches on several ocasions and reverted smoking coach conversions. Today, two non-converted smoker lounges were on train #3 (31531 and 31532) still with the word "smoking" on the side.

Train #3 only had two engines present for duty this morning. IT appears that there is locomtive reduction in process on this train as well as a speed reduction somewhere out toward the east end of the line.

Horrors of horrors about the Southwest Chief. Forget where I read it, but Amtrak and BNSF are experimenting with running the train at a max of 79. Ending 90 mph.

One has to wonder if BNSF is planning on getting rid of ATS.

I think the 90 mph running for the Southwest Chief is history, but the schedule is unaffected, due to the padding that already existed.

From what I understand one of them is being used as the new ticket office on track 19...
