During this time of crisis for passenger rail, in case you didn't know, there are two email discussion groups that focus on passenger rail I thought you might want to know about.

Passenger rail news doesn't have discussions - We don't want long never ending arguments. The group is for posting of pro-rail travel articles providing advocates ammunition.

I just read a great op-ed piece by a Virginia rail advocate posted to the group that explains how gutting Amtrak would hurt regional rail development.

There's good ammo here. I learned about that article through the aforementioned groups.

I urge many of you to join the Passenger Rail News group or the State ARP group.
