We are slated to take the Sunset Ltd. on July 17 from Los Angeles to El Paso. I know the Sunset is notorious for running late, but thought that it might not be too far off its timetable from the start point in LA. However, I also note that recently coming into LAUPT it was 22 hours late, yikes! (The consensus cause are factors in the south as well as the Houston area) So, my concern is that even if the Sunset doesn't get too far off schedule from LA to El Paso, might it run late on that route because the westbound train didn't arrive in time to get turned around in LAUPT?
