I have been waiting months for Trainweb to resolve hosting problems. Recently, they have been party resolved, but for some odd reason I am still unable to upload all of my recent photos from this trip.

Therefore, I uploaded the files onto one of my other personal websites to be linked from my website.

My Website

Direct to Trip Report

Enjoy!

Great report. Years ago, on my first trip aboard the Southwest Chief (and my first-ever voyage in a sleeping car), Efren Cuadro was the car attendant. I recall that he definitely had his act together -- far more so than most Amtrak attendants I've encountered. It's good to hear he's still around.

Thanks Ryan & Dilly..

Ryan..I see in your thread you are traveling on the chief and yes, the Chief is usually relatively on time, unlike most other long distance trains.
Dilly..Efren deffinetly knew what he was doing...I wish I had seen him on crewten.com before the trip so I could have mentioned it...

Excellent report, Anton. You realy touched the highlights. I have traveled that route many times even long before there was an Amtrak. You made it all come to life. Just a thought...had you thought of the possibility of checking with your English teacher about some extra credit for this report? My mother always said about trying something "couldn't hurt".
