Power in NEC was disrupted for several hours this morning, stranding thousands of weekday commuters on isolated areas of track, under the Hudson River and in the B&P Tunnel under Baltimore, among others. The service disruption affected all AMTRAK service between DC and NYC. Service has since been restored and now the "Wha happened, Lucy" investigation begins. Next big issue is whether AMTRAK can spot their trains in the proper locations for the afternoon rush.
