have they actually started fixing th emilwaukee depot or is it just talk yet? how about sturdevant? enjoyed your reports. sounds like the cops in no were jerks.

Take special care of Engine 975...2-10-2 at the museum. I'm planning to join when I visit, hopefully before the year is up.

Nice travelogues / blogs, Robert. The Empire Builder and Zephyr are two of my faves.

It was neat to read about the rebuild at the Cathedral; I've been to Mass there in sunnier days.

What you wrote about it's nice having real china in the Builder Dining Car...I agree. I rode that train in May 2006. In June 2006 on the Lake Shore Limited, I cut through my plastic plate while splitting a baked potato!
