Does anyone remember whether it is the ODD of the EVEN numbered sleeperettes that are usually on the left side facing forward on Viewliner trains? I am now thinking of getting a sleeper when I make my west to east Cardinal trip.

Also, are ALL odd numbers on the same side, or are 1 and 2 reversed?

Also, are there sleeperettes with particular numbers that I should avoid because they are bumpier or have bad views or something? I've never had any trouble with this but just wondered what your thoughts are. Thanks.

A Viewliner "map view' with Vestibule forward , is arranged Bedrooms Right hand, odd-numbered Roomettes (sleeperette in Sojournerese) right hand, even Left.

Likely the best Viewliner ride is in Roomettes 3-6; 11-12 will have "more bounce to the ounce'.

I find the following link invaluable when trying to visualize sleeper car layouts.
