Had an interesting time going out on #5 today (July 29) between CHI and PCT.
Turns out the lounge car attendant didn't show up for work. Ooops. So they had someone from the dining car filling in (he did great BTW), but it seems no one had the keys to unlock the food/service area (new lounge car). So the conductor used a crowbar to break the lock. Fun stuff!
Then you had one of the first customer who decided to throw a hissy fit because the lounge car didn't have slurpes.
Nice, huh? heehehe... gotta love it.

Wonder why the guy didnt complain about the lack of Big Mac's too.
