Well, My daughter and I leave tommorow nite on our trip back home!!!! I spoke with my sis in Tacoma and her friend was over 12 hrs late last week (she may have been streching the truth a little) But I got a little worried abiout 2 nites in coach! Uggg my achin' back!I called Amtrak and spoke with "Customer Relations" due to the lateness of the train, as well as mishaps in the past they were able to offer me a sleeper at 1/2 price!!! Yahoo!!!! We are so excited and can't wait to board the train!! Thanx for all the valuable info you have given me and I just luv reading this forum!!

I love it when they offer an upgrade to sleeper for significantly below regular price at the last minute!
