Hello everyone,

After taking a LONG break from writing my trip report I've finally finished Part 4. Thank you everyone for the kind comments and help through parts 1-3.

I hope you enjoy Part 4.

Thanks,
David

This is operation by BNSF like they still own it and are proud of it. And also by Amtrak like they ought to be everywhere. Looks like the only problem is a need for more capacity, and maybe another person in the dining car, partuiculaly between MSP and Chi.

We will be polite about rules compliance and say that your GPS was not quite right and the true maximum speed was really 79.9 mph.

Thanks for that detailed report. I enjoyed it so much. Can't wait until I take a ride on the Empire Builder. I sure hope it won't be too far off.
