I'm trying to log my rail miles when I have ridden GO Transit and Metra Rail. Problem is, I have no idea what the miles are station-to-station. Anybody know any sites that have this information? Their timetables don't have the miles between stations like Amtrak. Thank You.

You should get a copy of the "Canadian Trackside Guide" It lists the subdivision mileage for all railways in Canada including the CN & CP lines GO operates on.

Its availabe from the ByTown Railway Society

For Metra, see if you can get your hands on either an employee timetable or an old timetable back pre advent of amtrak. A lot, but not necessarily all will list the commuter stops and their milepost locations. Which Metra lines? Some I may have in a pdf form that I could email you.

For GO trains, you can calculate the mileage between stations using the CN and CP subdivision lists which can be found at Paul Cordingley's Rails in Toronto site. The distances are in miles, and not kilometers.
