If you are a Metrolink monthly pass holder, you can travel free between LA, San Luis Obispo, and all points in between on the weekends.

Make sure you bring a printout of this promotion, as the Amtrak crews don't seem to know about it yet.

Amtrak Pacific Surfliner Monthly Pass Holders are good as well.
