Anybody seen the new GO Transit units yet? I've been looking but havent seen any pictures on line yet. Thanks.

Yeah, they are pretty ugly. The side view isn't so bad but the head-on view is. These locomotives seem to be working out well for Metra so, this should be a good thing for GO.

I don't think they're ugly, but the paint job on the GO units is sorely lacking. The Metra units look a lot better.

But as Italiancanuck89 implied, the machinery's good, and that's really what counts. What good's a shovelnose E5 if it doesn't pull?

I think the problem is that badly proportioned four panel windshield that looks like grasshopper eyes. The paint job as seen from the front view enhances the insect-like appearance.
