I was wondering on the Capitol Trains and San Joaqins at the station you hear the automated announcement about the train status and if it is running on time and arriving. Do they use Julie's voice for this as well?

You know, now that you mention it, it kind of sounds like her, don't it?

The voice on the automatic train announcement is a higher pitch and sounds much more robotic than Julie. My opinion is no, they're not the same voice. On a side note, the one in Bakersfield is rarely accurate. It will announce 'now arriving' several minutes before you can even see the train. On a recent SB bus trip, the 'now arriving' announcement came on almost 5 full minutes AFTER 714 actually arrived. There were actually a few chuckles on the platform over the announcement.
