I see some folks received their Guest Reward points from the August 20 promo. I wonder if everyone who qualified and rode that day received their points as of yet. I seem to be checking my account on Amtrak GR daily with no luck and am left wondering if I have fallen into disfavor with the all powerful Amtrak promotion God.

Did you register for that promotion? Sometimes people think they did but didn't. What train did you ride? All tickets go to El Paso, Texas to be scanned and some crew bases are slow to turn them in.

Yes the wife and I registered and all. She rode from Holland MI to Bangor MI to qualify. Had to buy the ticket onboard this train no big deal. We have a receipt. It would look as if peeps are getting around 800 or so points for their efforts. The wife say's that means about 2500 Guest Rewards folks rode that day.

The onboard recipts must be sent in with you number on it to Guest Rewards. It will take six weeks or so for them to get in on their site. Good luck!

I just checked my AGR account and received 804 points for my $6.37 ride from SBA to CPN! Not a bad return and it was a fun little outing.
