I've already posted this on Facebook, but I decided it really deserves a spot in my blog!

My lucky, lucky day! I didn't think there was one chance in a million that I would ever see it again!

On my trip last month, I sat down in the Business Center at Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia and there was someone's iPhone. Another gal in the Center thought she could unlock it with some kind of panic button that would hopefully call the owner; no luck.

I took it to the desk; it was their problem to get it to the rightful owner, but I did leave a note to the effect of "To whom it may concern; your phone is at the desk" by the computer station at which I found it.

Later, when I got back from my friends home near there (Buford), there was a message from the desk saying the phone was reunited with grateful thanks.

I guess if you have one of those electronic playthings, your life is pretty well wrapped up in it.

Totally wrapped up in it! I have now got my iPhone programmed to be a wireless "hotspot"... which means I can get an internet signal on my computer as long as I have a phone signal. When my computer is searching for a wireless signal, one of the choices I get is "Marty Hale's iPhone"... easy as pie! Therefore, I can email or post messages from this coach car (which is cold as ice) somewhere near Richmond, Virginia!

97(19) is reported as arrived on time at SAV. Presuably Dr. Hale is home but "zonked'. I've posted additional thoughts at her blog.
