Latest project percolating over at Streamliner Schedules is intended to document the various rail connections that Union Pacific would have used for their escorted tours in the summer of 1957. Back in the day Union Pacific had a major investment of time and effort sponsoring "all-expense" tours for summer vacationers with escorts along to provide commentary and handle logistics. Through means fair or foul (eBay) I acquired a packet of their promotional literature for that year; I scanned it and put it up in the Information Desk section on my home page. Now I'm engaged in transcribing the various timetables of the trains UP used to transport their customers; four timetables went up today.
