If you haven't yet discovered 11 foot 8, it's time to get on board. This site isn't about an extremely tall NBA player--it's about an extremely short railroad underpass in Durham NC that gets smacked by an over height truck about once a month. A local business near the underpass has set up video cameras to record the accidents. Then, after a little editing, the accident videos are posted on line. Currently, the archive has 143 crash videos.
"How is this connected to Amtrak?" the moderators may be wondering. Well, the rail line is host to Piedmont and Carolinian trains, as can be seen in this video.

There was a severe gas line explosion in Durham NC today. TV News reports show it was close to the 11'8" underpass Mr. Vincent notes.
Amtrak/NCDOT service might be affected.
