Hi everyone! Railroad Rich back again -- I haven't been active here for a while.

I am redoing my Amtrak route maps with new software. Is the Coast Starlight still following the old route in Washington, or has it again started to use that new route south of Tacoma since the derailment there a couple years ago?

Still back on old route so far as I know. There are plenty of people out here that will probably announce loud and clear when the move back takes place. (In my opinion to not go directly back to the new route as soon as they got it fixed was ridiculous. After this derailment you had better believe that the location of this speed restriction was engraved in everyone's brain.)

Thanks, George! But did I see something in the new Trains magazine that indicated that the Sounder trains now are taking the new route from the new Tacoma station? (haven't read the article yet)
