Madrid - Twenty people were injured, four of them seriously, when two passenger trains collided Friday at Linarejos near the northwestern Spanish town of Zamora, rescue officials said. Three people were rushed to hospitals by helicopter while others were given medical assistance close to the crash site, they said.
The collision between the two Madrid-La Coruna trains carrying 505 people happened at 19:30, according to state railway company Renfe.
The impact derailed several carriages and set the two locomotives ablaze, witnesses said
