Can anyone help with good Railway museums in england. I am going to the York Railway Museum but also looking for other things to do.

York is undoubtably the best - and it's free - so you're right in going there.

Swindon has the Steam museum. Didcot, just a few miles away, has the broad gauge museum/railway.

Other rail-connected steam railways include the Severn Valley (considered one of the best), the Watercress Line, the Festiniog railway... there are loads!

Also, if you're in London, try the London Transport Museum.
