A quick note to those interested. I spotted the FRA "T-10" Track Inspection Car in the San Jose CA Newhall Street yard. This was at about 6PM on Sunday Sept 24th. The car was parked in the regular diesel storage tracks next to Newhall Street. It has an unusual-looking RDC-like "dome" on its roof, which is almost as long as the roof.
The T-10 car looks very similar to an AMtrak Amfleet coach, with some minor changes. Does anyone have any idea where this thing may be headed to?? Has this car been on the former SP Coast Line recently?? Just wanted to pass the info along for anyone who is interested. --Daniel
