My uncle rides the Metro-Link and asked how they operated. He arrives at his destination going foreward and the train leaves backwards. How are they doing this? Push/pull? or are they just backing at high speeds?

The commuter service in Southern California
is known as Metrolink. One Word.

Push pull is used on all routes.
Normal is CAB forward to Los Angeles.
