The BNSF branch that joins the Harbor Sub at Alcoa Jct in Torrance (CA) looks like it will be cut back further in the near future. The line currently extends as far east as Western Ave., and the grade crossing signals have recently been removed from that location. The branch is in poor shape with a lot of high weeds. Evidently the last movement on the track was the Southwest Museum-owned American crane, which moved out a few months ago and is slowly migrating north. There do not appear to be any customers left on that line (since the branch no longer reaches McDonnell Douglas/Boeing east of Western Ave.). Once in a while cars were stored on that line but I have not seen any there recently.
