OK for all those people in the Columbus Ohio area here is youre chance to get involved. I am trying to organise an effort to do some cosmetic restoration on Norfolk and western #578. Loco has been sitting outside the Ohio railway Museum for the past 20 years and is in bad need of some new paint. Other than this loco is in fair condition and is restoreable. Please contact me if you are willing to help out and get a bit dirty....Mike

Work days will be the last two saturdays of September. We want to get started at 8 in the morning and will work till 6 or 8 in the evening. I will have dogs and burgers for all the workers, and if anyone wants to bring desert or something to share ,we could have a real nice BBQ too.
