The delorme company that makes a street atlas CD-Rom that when you highlight the road trackage, you can call up a label of what line currently owns it. I use it to help trace the local histories of what was, for instance, NS/Conrail/Penn Cen/NYC and how trackage rights have evolved on a local level throughout our railroading history. A real labor of love, but some of the things I can document are just WILD. Opinions on a good idea?
