I just wanted to say "hello" and introduce myself as your new Moderator for this forum.
My name is Robert and I'm originally from the Chicagoland area, but have called Wisconsin home for the past 17 years now. And probably like you, I have shared a life-long passion for railroading.
I currently work as the Director of Passenger Development for the Wisconsin Great Northern, a tourist railroad operation in Northwest Wisconsin. I also serve as President of the Midwest Rail Rangers, a 501(c)(3) non-profit group that provides narration on rail excursions across the Upper Midwest on private rail trips, charters, the South Shore Line, etc... (For more information on that, check out RailRangers.org). My wife and I have written over a dozen railroad route guide books for the various train lines around the Midwest. (For more on that, check out MidwestRails.com).
So, yeah, we stay quite busy... so I might not post a lot on here... but am here if you need something or have problems.
I wanted to say thank you to Lori, as your previous Moderator ... and I will do the best to honor Ray's memory as well. And thanks to Steve and Shivam for all their hard work over the years too.
My email is rtabern@railrangers.org if you have any immediate concerns.
Thanks, Robert

WHAT!!!! I'm fired???
Just kidding.
I actually thought I'd give Robert a week before I introduced him, but he has done a much better job of it.
Of course I'll check in every once in a while, it's been a long time, over twenty years.
Finally, Trainweb has someone who understands the rail industry way more than I ever could, and Robert is way more tech savvy than myself.
